Jaggampeta is a town in Jaggampeta mandal, located in Kakinada district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located on the delta of Godavari. This town served in the British rule since 17th century, primarily as an exporter of tiles to London from India. This town also had a primary role in the Andhra Pradesh politics. This town is also named "Uddandula kota", "The Gate of Agency", "The Entrance of Maredumilli Forests" and "The Center of East Godavari".
